Confirmation training at Grace Church is based on our belief that Christians are made, not born.
The goal of Confirmation training is to make new Disciples. We are more interested in our Youth following Jesus Christ than in knowing facts about Jesus , the Bible or the Church. We believe Christianity is lived out in community. John Wesley taught us that “there are no solitary Christians”. We believe we learn better by watching and imitating rather than by sitting in class and listening to someone talk.
Confirmation training at Grace Church is for
- Youth in 8th Grade through 12th Grade
- Youth who want to deepen and strengthen their Christian faith
- Youth who seek to know more about God - embark on a spiritual adventure.
- Youth who want to become more deeply involved at Grace Church by attending worship, serving, and giving to the ministry of the church.
- Youth who are ready to embrace church membership vows.
